ATTENTION SUBSCRIBERS: If you opened the war.gov/UFO page this week, you're already on a list. Pentagon analytics. AARO logging. The same five-letter agencies that "didn't see anything for sixty years" suddenly know exactly which IP downloaded which JPEG. The transparency goes one way.

―――――――――――――――――――――

THIS WEEK'S PATTERN: THE CURATION IS THE COVER-UP

They DID release the files, people. That's the trick. The Pentagon dropped 162 files Friday afternoon. War.gov/UFO. Department of War. AARO. ODNI, DOE, NASA, FBI all listed.

They told you "MAXIMUM TRANSPARENCY."

They counted the files for you. One hundred sixty-two.

Here's what 162 actually contains:

EIGHTEEN of those records are sub-sections of ONE file. 62-HQ-83894. Public on the FBI Vault since 2011. Anyone could read it. The Pentagon split it into 18 pieces and counted each piece as a SEPARATE DISCLOSURE. The filename literally says section_2, section_3, section_4 — they're telling you in the metadata that they're recycling, and the press still wrote "162 NEW FILES."

WAKE UP.

The Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 photographs they "released"? The photos have been on NASA archive servers since 1972. What's NEW is that somebody at the Pentagon DREW HIGHLIGHT CIRCLES on them. The annotation is the data. They circled some lunar features, called it intelligence, and the press treated it like a discovery.

You released a coloring book.

That's the trick. The cover-up isn't HIDING the files anymore. The cover-up is THE FILES. You bury 22 real records inside 162 padded ones, you add a Trump-rebrand marketing campaign, and the news cycle moves on by Sunday because Patrick Stewart isn't biting Jerry Fletcher's nose anymore — they don't have to. You already counted "162" out loud.

THE CURATION IS THE COVER-UP.

THE LANGUAGE SECTION (Read This Three Times)

Roddy Piper put on the sunglasses. The billboards said OBEY. CONSUME. STAY ASLEEP.

You don't need the sunglasses for the PURSUE release. They wrote the script in plain English and dared you to ignore it.

PURSUE → "Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters." The acronym is a verb. "We are PURSUING the truth." Forced verb conjugation as a marketing trick. The actual policy is "we will release files we already finished reviewing."

DEPARTMENT OF WAR → It was the Department of Defense on Wednesday. By Friday it was the Department of War on the press release. The press adopted it inside 24 hours. Defense is what you do when someone hits you. War is what you start. They told you which one this is.

"MAXIMUM TRANSPARENCY" → 2017. 2020. 2023. 2024. 2026. Each one was framed as "the first." None was. There has been a "first historic transparency" UFO disclosure every 18 to 24 months for the better part of a decade. Same play, same press, same forgetting.

"AARO HAS REVIEWED" → AARO did not say what the things ARE. They said they looked at them and decided they were the kind of thing worth releasing. The press wrote "AARO confirms." That word does not appear in the advisory.

"NEVER BEFORE SEEN" → Sixty-year-old FBI files. NASA photos with circles. 1955 Trans-Caucasus eyewitness reports. Public since the Carter administration. Never seen by who, exactly?

GEORGE ORWELL WROTE THE MANUAL. JOHN CARPENTER MADE THE DOCUMENTARY. THEY'RE STILL USING BOTH AS A CHECKLIST.

COINCIDENCE CORNER 🎯

Things that are DEFINITELY not connected:

  1. PURSUE Release lands MAY 8, 2026. The Brookings Institution's contingency report on "the discovery of extraterrestrial life" was filed in 1960. The FIRST anniversary of that report was 1961. Sixty-five years later, almost to the season, the National Aeronautics and Space Council's 1963 "space alien race question" memo gets dropped into a public release. THE SAME MEMO that was sitting in classified for 63 years. Released in the 65th year of the Brookings clock. Nothing to see here.

  1. The release names ELEVEN modern Mission Reports from 2020 to 2024. The DEFINITELY-NOT-DECLASSIFIED reports from 2025? Those are 24 photos. Heavily REDACTED before AARO got them. The redaction happened BEFORE the release process. They told you in the metadata. NOBODY ASKED WHO THE REDACTOR WAS.

  1. The strongest mission report is DOW-UAP-D55. P-8A maritime patrol, near Latakia, Syria, November 2016. The MONTH RUSSIA WAS HEAVIEST IN SYRIA. "Sea skim mode" — meaning the object was hugging the wave-tops. Five hundred knots. Southeasterly heading. Russian air defense coverage was at its peak that month. The pilot lost visual at two minutes. NOBODY'S ASKING WHY THIS PARTICULAR FILE FROM THIS PARTICULAR MONTH.

  1. The 24 FBI Photo B-series — "Late 2025, Western United States." Multiple sensors. Sustained event. Compartmented frames. The release tells you they exist. The release does not tell you the platform, the unit, the date, the location more specific than "Western US," or what the unredacted versions show. THEY'RE PUBLISHING THE EXISTENCE OF THE FILE WITHOUT PUBLISHING THE FILE. That is a new genre.

I'M NOT SAYING ANYTHING. I'M JUST SAYING.

THE NASA SECTION (Continuing From Vol. 47) 🛸

In Volume 47 I told you MAVEN went silent on December 6. Right after Mars occlusion. "Solar conjunction" until January 16. Nobody could check.

Solar conjunction ended four months ago. Where's the MAVEN update?

THERE ISN'T ONE. The PURSUE release does not mention MAVEN. The PURSUE release does not mention 3I/ATLAS, which by my count just did its St. Patrick's Day Jupiter swing six weeks ago. The PURSUE release talks about the 1944 Krasuski Germany interview and the 1958 Detroit "crystal dome" memo. They went BACK SIXTY YEARS to give you something while saying nothing about the spacecraft they cannot find or the interstellar object that just used Jupiter as a billiard cushion.

THE PENTAGON HAS A VERY SPECIFIC IDEA OF WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT.

It is not what is happening above your head this week.

It is what was happening above some farmer in Detroit in 1958.

I'M JUST SAYING.

―――――――――――――――――――――

WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN THE PILE (For The Discerning Reader)

Look. I'm a paranoid lunatic. But I'm an HONEST paranoid lunatic. The PURSUE release isn't ALL theater.

About 22 records out of 161 are real. Here's the gold:

— DOW-UAP-D55. The Latakia P-8A. Read it.

— The September 2023 composite sketch. "Ellipsoid bronze metallic object materializing out of a bright light, 130-195 feet, disappearing instantaneously." US test site. USPER witness. SIX FBI 302s describe the same incident from different angles. That's a real event with real follow-on investigation.

— The 1963 National Aeronautics and Space Council memo on "the space alien race question." 59_214434_SP_16. EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT. Contingency planning for first contact. We have not seen this cited publicly before. Same year as Brookings. Different agency. Similar framing.

— Project Blue Book Box 7 incident summaries. Sixty years old. But not previously digitized at this resolution. For the disclosure-history archaeologists, this is real archive.

— The 24 FBI Photo B frames. They exist. The Pentagon admits they exist. They will not tell you what they show. THE EXISTENCE IS THE INTELLIGENCE.

That's about 14% of the release. The other 86% is the curation. Don't let the curation tell you the 14% is fake. Don't let the 14% tell you the 86% is real. Both are happening at the same time. That's the trick.

Microsoft pulls the DugganUSA STIX feed daily. AT&T pulls the feed daily. Starlink pulls the feed daily. The Pentagon pulls 161 files into a press release. The asymmetry is the news.

READER MAIL 📬

Q: Jerry, didn't you score this thing 69 out of 95? That's not a debunk.

A: Correct. We scored it 69/95 on the NCI Mind Control Detection framework. That means strong manipulation indicators across all four categories. It does NOT mean the release is fake. It means the release is CURATED to a degree that makes the curation itself the story. The 22 real files are real. The 18 recycled Vault sub-sections are recycled. Both can be true. I am a paranoid honest lunatic.

Q: My name isn't Jerry. Why do you keep calling me Jerry?

A: Mel Gibson played Jerry Fletcher in 1997. Patrick Stewart played Dr. Jonas. Jerry was right about everything and they put him in a hospital bed and bit his nose. Twenty-nine years later, the doctors don't have to bite anymore. They release 162 files and let the count do the work.

Q: Should I read the actual files?

A: Yes. Skip past the Apollo coloring book. Pull the modern MISREPs. Read DOW-UAP-D55. Read the September 2023 composite sketch and the six FBI 302s that describe the same incident. Read the 1963 NASC memo. Skip the 18 Vault sub-sections — go to the FBI Vault and read 62-HQ-83894 in its original form. The original was already public. The "release" added nothing except slicing.

Q: What are the 24 redacted Late-2025 photos?

A: I don't know. Nobody outside the building knows. That's the point of releasing them. THE ANSWER IS THAT THEY ARE RELEASING WITHOUT TELLING YOU THE ANSWER, and you are supposed to be grateful for the photo of the redaction.

SURVIVAL TIPS 🔦

  1. Count the files yourself. The press will not.

  1. When a release has the prefix section_N, treat the whole prefix-cluster as ONE file.

  1. When a photo has a circle drawn on it, the circle is the disclosure. The photo was already public. Look up the photo by date and instrument and find the un-circled original. The diff is the message.

  1. When the metadata says "altered with redactions before submission," the unredacted version is the news. The redacted version is the press release.

  1. When a press release says "MAXIMUM TRANSPARENCY," count the previous "first historic transparency" disclosures. There have been at least four since 2017. The word "first" is being used incorrectly on purpose.

  1. Trust the brisket. Trust the receipts. Don't trust the count.

FINAL THOUGHT

Volume 47 told you the paperwork is the weapon. The FORM is the bullet. The REQUIREMENT is the trigger.

Volume 48 is the same gun, different ammunition. The CURATION is the bullet. The COUNT is the trigger. The PRESS RELEASE is the bureaucrat who was just following orders.

162 files. 22 real disclosures. 18 already-public sub-sections. The math is on the page. The Pentagon told you in the metadata. The press did not read the metadata.

In 1997 Dr. Jonas had to put Jerry Fletcher in a hospital bed and ask him about "the thing he wasn't supposed to see." That was fiction. Now the thing he wasn't supposed to see is the SECTION_2 prefix on a filename, and you don't have to put anyone anywhere — you just have to make the count loud enough to drown out the prefix.

Roswell '47. PURSUE '26. Same play. Different decade. Different circle.

Don't eat the hot dogs. Don't trust the count.
