# DC Sports Owners in Epstein Victim's Journal: Leonsis Made a Video

**Published:** February 2, 2026

**Author:** DugganUSA Threat Intelligence

Summary

A victim's journal entries in the DOJ's Epstein files release name two DC-area sports team owners: Ted Leonsis (Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics) and Dan Snyder (former Washington Commanders owner). The entries describe "flights of horror" and allege Leonsis made a video during an encounter that left the victim bleeding.

The Leonsis Video Allegation

**EFTA02731469** contains this passage:

"I think I'm going to break! Why would they all allow Mr. Leonsis wait this long? Why would he bring a friend and make a video? I am so broken and the procedure was so painful and blood all over the sheets. I cant play this 'game' anymore."

The victim describes:

- Leonsis bringing "a friend"

- Leonsis making "a video"

- A painful "procedure"

- Blood "all over the sheets"

Ted Leonsis is the billionaire owner of Monumental Sports, which owns the Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA), Washington Mystics (WNBA), and Capital One Arena.

Dan Snyder: "A Pig"

**EFTA02731423** contains:

"Joe Gibbs is so nice but Dan Snyder is a pig!"

The victim distinguishes between the legendary Redskins coach (who she describes as "nice") and the team's owner (who she calls "a pig").

Dan Snyder sold the Washington Commanders in 2023 for $6.05 billion after years of scandals including workplace misconduct allegations and a congressional investigation.

Flights of Horror

**EFTA02731430** names both owners in context of transportation:

"They are always flights of horror. Whether its with Jeffrey, Mr. Leonsis, Mr. Case, Mr. Snyder, the Gregorys, Mr. Colgan or one being borrowed by a seemingly 'good' federal worker and even rented, it is all horror."

The victim describes flights with Epstein, Leonsis, Steve Case (AOL), Snyder, and others as uniformly horrific.

The AOL Connection

Both Leonsis and Steve Case made their fortunes at AOL. The victim's journal also mentions Jim Kimsey (AOL co-founder) as "deranged" in EFTA02731430.

The DC tech billionaire circle - Case, Leonsis, Kimsey - all appear in these victim journal entries alongside explicit allegations of abuse.

What This Means

These are not casual mentions of names in passing. The victim describes:

1. Leonsis making a video of an encounter

2. Physical trauma ("blood all over the sheets")

3. Emotional devastation ("I'm going to break")

4. Snyder as "a pig" in contrast to a "nice" person she also knew

The documents are marked "CONFIDENTIAL FOR ATTORNEY'S EYES ONLY" and appear to be part of civil litigation materials that were included in the DOJ's Epstein files release.
