# Epstein Files: Gates Says He "Stopped in 2013" - The Index Disagrees
**TL;DR:** Bill Gates keeps saying he stopped meeting with Jeffrey Epstein in 2013. We indexed 74,000+ DOJ documents. His science advisor was still emailing Epstein in August 2013 asking for job help. His former Microsoft colleague was emailing Epstein about satellite deals in June 2014. Epstein was emailing the Nobel Prize committee chair in May 2014. The receipts don't match the press releases.
The Denial
Bill Gates, February 2026:
> "I stopped meeting with him in 2013... It was just dinners with interesting people."
This is the cleaned-up version of years of evolving statements. First there were no meetings. Then there were meetings but only about philanthropy. Then there were multiple meetings but he regrets them. Now there's a firm cutoff date: 2013.

What The Index Shows
Boris Nikolic: August 2013
**EFTA02730265** - Email from Boris Nikolic (Gates Foundation science advisor) to Jeffrey Epstein:

Date: **August 24, 2013**
Gates' own science advisor is asking Epstein for career help in August 2013 - the year Gates claims he stopped.
Boris Nikolic: Named in the Will
**EFTA01266247** - Epstein's Last Will and Testament, signed **August 2019**:
Boris Nikolic is named as a backup executor of Epstein's estate.
You don't name someone as executor of your will if you stopped associating with their boss's circle in 2013.
Nathan Myhrvold: June 2014
**EFTA01922983** - Email from Jeffrey Epstein to Nathan Myhrvold (former Microsoft CTO, Gates' longtime colleague):
> "googles numbers show gigantic returns, i spoke to trcn and he confirmed that this is a breakthrough, sat less than 150 kg. low power allows under the regulations for most"
Subject line: **"do you want to do this instead of google"**
Date: **June 2, 2014**
Epstein is pitching the former Microsoft CTO on satellite technology investments - competing with Google - a full year after Gates claims he stopped.
Myhrvold's response: "OK, we can discuss..."
The Nobel Connection: May 2014
**EFTA01925368** - Email from Thorbjørn Jagland (Nobel Peace Prize committee chair) to Jeffrey Epstein:

Date: **May 10, 2014**
The chair of the Nobel Peace Prize committee is trying to reach Epstein by phone in May 2014.
Norwegian journalists documented that Epstein brokered Gates' access to Jagland in 2013. The relationship continued.
The Project Molecule Paper Trail

Subject: "outline"
Content includes: **"gates /jpm"**
Date: **July 28, 2011**
This is Project Molecule - the JPMorgan scheme where Epstein would broker Gates Foundation access in exchange for commissions. Documented in JPMorgan's own internal files.
"Just dinners with interesting people" doesn't usually involve confidential JPMorgan investment schemes with your name on the outline.

Gates says he stopped in 2013. His science advisor was still coordinating in August 2013. His former Microsoft colleague was still doing deals in June 2014. Epstein's Nobel access continued through at least May 2014.
"Just Dinners With Interesting People"
The dinners included:
