# Epstein Files: The Dilorio Thread - How a Whistleblower Connected Apollo, Kushner, and Putin
**TL;DR:** Buried in the 3 million DOJ Epstein documents is a series of emails from whistleblower Chris Dilorio to the SEC, documenting the Apollo-Epstein-Kushner-Putin connection with receipts. We indexed them. Here's what he found.
The Dilorio Whistleblower Thread
Between April and July 2019, a whistleblower named Chris Dilorio sent a series of emails to the SEC with subject line "Apollo/Epstein/Kushner connection." These emails are now part of the DOJ's Epstein document release.
What makes Dilorio's emails significant isn't his tone (colorful) or his formatting (chaotic). It's that he provided SEC filing links, news articles, and a coherent theory that the FBI and DOJ have now preserved as part of the official Epstein record.

The Core Allegation

The SEC Filing Nobody Noticed
Dilorio pointed to something remarkable:

Environmental Solutions Worldwide (ESWW) was a penny stock that Dilorio describes as "a money laundering NASDAC/OTCM shell." The company went dark in 2015.
Leon Black, Apollo, and Epstein's Financial Trust Company all appear in the same SEC filing.

In EFTA00010750, Dilorio writes:

He links to a 2011 Reuters article: "UPDATE 2-Putin gets SWF, PE backing for Russia fund - Apollo's Black shares platform with Putin"
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), later sanctioned by the US Treasury, received backing from Apollo and others in 2011.
The Mogilevich Thread
Dilorio also connects to organized crime:

Ressler founded Ares Management, which went public in 2014.
Dilorio continues:

The DOJ preserved 7 documents referencing Mogilevich in the Epstein files.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick
Separately, an FBI NTOC intake document (EFTA00020515) dated October 19, 2020 records:
> "called the FBI National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) to report information about Howard Lutnick, CEO of [Cantor Fitzgerald], who could be connected to Jeffrey Epstein."
The caller:
- Worked in NYC 2015-2017 for [redacted, likely BGC Partners]
- Claims "Howard Lutnick was Jeffrey Epstein's neighbor"
- Believes "suspicious financial activities could be related to Epstein's case"
- Has "documentation he is willing to provide to the FBI"
Howard Lutnick is currently serving as **Commerce Secretary** in the Trump administration.
What This Means
The Dilorio thread isn't a smoking gun by itself. It's a whistleblower's documented attempt to get the SEC to investigate connections that were later confirmed by mainstream reporting:
- The Apollo-Kushner loan timeline is verified
- The SEC dropping the probe is verified
- The Putin/RDIF connection is verified
- The 666 Fifth Avenue financing is verified
What Dilorio did was connect these dots and document them in 2019. The DOJ preserved his emails as part of the Epstein evidence.
