# John Barron Meets the Index
**The man who invented fake names to control the press just called into C-SPAN as "John Barron." Meanwhile, the Epstein files show what the aliases were trying to hide: a registered sex offender running real-time White House intelligence to the author of Fire and Fury, over cookies, at the mansion.**
The Alias
Donald Trump has been using fake names since the 1980s.
**John Barron.** The alias he used to call reporters at the New York Post and People Magazine, planting stories about his own wealth and romantic conquests. He posed as his own publicist. Under oath in a 1990 deposition, he admitted it was him.
**John Baron.** The alternate spelling, used in different contexts.
**David Dennison.** The alias used in the Stormy Daniels NDA.
He named his son Barron.
Last week, someone calling himself "John Barron" called into C-SPAN to complain about the Supreme Court's tariff ruling. C-SPAN has addressed the rumors. The internet did the rest.
Here's what the internet hasn't connected yet: the Epstein files show exactly why Trump needs aliases.
The Fire and Fury Pipeline
**Michael Wolff** wrote *Fire and Fury*, the book that exposed the chaos inside Trump's White House. What most people don't know is that Wolff was a regular guest at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan townhouse — **9 East 71st Street** — the same address where federal agents would later find a locked safe containing photographs of underage girls.
The DOJ-released documents show at least **10 separate meetings** between Wolff and Epstein:
**July 12, 2017.** Epstein emails Wolff directly: "830?" Wolff confirms: "Sure, 8:30 is great." Breakfast at the mansion.

**January 31, 2018.** Epstein's schedule for a single evening: "7:00pm DINNER w/President Lajcak, Brad Karp and Michael Wolff." That's the **President of the UN General Assembly**, the **Chairman of Paul Weiss** (one of America's most powerful law firms), and the author of *Fire and Fury* — all at dinner with a registered sex offender.
The next day's schedule: "12:30pm LUNCH w/Dan Kahneman, Woody and Soon Yi." That's Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman with Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn.

**August 24, 2018.** This is the one.
Wolff emails Epstein at 7:46 AM:
> "So many shoes to drop. Let me know if you have time for a tea this afternoon."
Epstein replies at 6:54 AM (forwarded later):
> "State investigation is right on time."
Lesley Groff — the assistant named in the federal indictment — follows up:
> "Should we have cookies for the 3pm tea with Michael Wolff?"
Epstein replies: "Yes."
**EFTA02255962.** A convicted sex offender and the author of *Fire and Fury* discussing "shoes to drop" about a state investigation, then having cookies. The government released this email. We made it searchable.
**September 21, 2018.** Epstein to Wolff: "tuesday president WEF. are you around?" WEF — World Economic Forum. Scheduling around presidential intelligence.
**EFTA02258349.**
**May 23, 2019.** Six weeks before Epstein's arrest. The staff reconfirms: "Hello Michael. Hope you are well. Reconfirming you will come see Jeffrey today at his home at 1pm for lunch! 9 East 71st Street between 5th and Madison." Wolff: "I'll be there!"
**EFTA02285919.** Wolff was still having lunch at the mansion six weeks before the FBI showed up.
