# One Word, 65 Documents, 3 Indexes: What Happens When You Search "Whittaker" Across 11 Million Records
We typed one word into our search engine: "Whittaker."
0.3 seconds later, we had 65 hits across 398,560 DOJ Epstein documents, 165 matches in 2 million ICIJ offshore entity records, and a conversation between Jeffrey Epstein and an unknown associate that references the Acting Attorney General of the United States — five months before Epstein's arrest.
This is what cross-index search does. This is why we built it.
The iMessage Chain
**HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_027568** — iMessage conversation, February 1-2, 2019
Source: Jeffrey Epstein's MacBook, extracted from `/Users/jee/Library/Messages/Archive/`
The conversation is between `[email protected]` (Epstein) and an unidentified participant. It runs from 9:36 PM on February 1 through 3:25 PM on February 2, 2019.
Here is the sequence, starting at 9:51 AM on February 2:
> **Unknown**: "I think u might be right"
> **Epstein**: "Im pushing, jared needs squashed"
> **Unknown**: "He is killing trump"
> **Epstein**: "I think Whittaker gave him a heads up on troubles"
> **Epstein**: "Kathy said his humanitarian crisis. Crushes his national emergency argument. Your textualist argument kills any defense of indictment. As it is not in the constitution."
> **Unknown**: "Including southern district?"
> **Epstein**: "Dk" [don't know]
Nine minutes later, the conversation shifts:
> **Epstein**: "No goofball - im having my commie dinner tomorrow with miro! Who I believe will be next sec gen un"
> **Epstein**: "There is a push at the un to form an investigation tribunal for mbs — oy"
> **Unknown**: "KSA finances half of these klowns — how can this be"
> **Epstein**: "Qatar"
> **Epstein**: "Turkey"
> **Unknown**: "Bingo"
The conversation ends with plans for breakfast at 7:30 AM and someone named "Wolf" joining them.
Who Is Whittaker?
On February 2, 2019, the Acting Attorney General of the United States was **Matthew Whittaker**. He served from November 7, 2018 to February 14, 2019 — between Jeff Sessions and William Barr.
Epstein's message — "I think Whittaker gave him a heads up on troubles" — references the Acting AG by name in the context of:
1. "Jared needs squashed" (Jared Kushner)
2. "He is killing trump"
3. A discussion of national emergency powers, indictment arguments, and the "southern district" (SDNY — the office that would arrest Epstein five months later on July 6, 2019)
This is a convicted sex offender, on an encrypted messaging platform, discussing the Acting Attorney General's interactions with someone in Trump's orbit, while also referencing the specific federal district that was building a case against him.
What Else "Whittaker" Finds
The same search, same 0.3 seconds, returned two other clusters:
Ray Whittaker — Sikorsky Helicopter Contracts
**Raymond V. Whittaker** — contracts manager at Sikorsky Aircraft (now Lockheed Martin). Four documents from 2010 show him in email chains with Epstein's attorney Darren Indyke and financial advisor Howard Germon regarding the S-76D helicopter program.
One email proposes meeting "at Ghislaine's house" or at "71st street in the oval office" — Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. Another describes meetings at the Argentine Consulate about helicopter sales. Epstein's aviation network extended beyond the planes — he was involved in military helicopter procurement discussions.
165 ICIJ Offshore Matches
The search simultaneously queried 2 million ICIJ offshore entity records from the Panama and Pandora Papers. 165 individuals named Whittaker appear as officers or directors of offshore entities across the Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, British Virgin Islands, Australia, and the United States.
No direct Epstein connection confirmed — but the cross-reference is instant. If any Whittaker in the Epstein files also appears as an offshore entity officer, the correlation surfaces automatically.
Why This Matters
A journalist reading the Epstein files might find the Whittaker iMessage. A financial investigator reviewing the ICIJ leaks might find Whittaker offshore entities. A legal researcher studying the DOJ documents might find the Sikorsky helicopter contracts.
None of them would find all three. Because they're in different datasets, different formats, different release schedules, from different governments and international organizations.
We have them in one search engine. One query. 0.3 seconds.
This is what 11 million records in 42 indexes looks like when you stop treating datasets as silos and start treating them as a single corpus:
- **398,560** DOJ Epstein documents (12 datasets + archive.org + House Oversight)
- **2,016,524** ICIJ offshore entities (Panama Papers + Pandora Papers)

- **2,572,577** federal court decisions
- **981,528** threat intelligence IOCs
- **1,320** blog posts
- **16,666** OTX threat pulses
Total: **10.9 million documents. 42 indexes. 44.8 GB.**
One word. Three datasets. A conversation about the Acting Attorney General that nobody else has connected to the broader network.
The Full Conversation, Decoded
Let's lay out what Epstein was discussing on February 2, 2019:
**Morning (3 AM)**: Sends links about presidential national emergency powers and a Ken Starr memo on presidential indictment. He's researching constitutional limits on executive power at 3 AM.
**Morning (4:48 AM)**: "the trump comment about you no surprise, only a matter of time" — suggests the unknown participant has been publicly connected to Trump.
**Morning (8:15 AM)**: "You mean in the haberman piece???" — references Maggie Haberman, New York Times White House correspondent.
**Morning (9:51 AM)**: The Whittaker sequence. Jared, killing Trump, Whittaker heads up, Southern District.
**Morning (10:06 AM)**: "commie dinner tomorrow with miro! Who I believe will be next sec gen un" — Epstein is having dinner with someone he believes will become UN Secretary-General.
**Morning (10:07 AM)**: UN investigation tribunal for MBS (Mohammed bin Salman). This was weeks after Jamal Khashoggi's murder.
**Morning (10:09 AM)**: Qatar and Turkey driving the MBS investigation. Epstein knows this.
**Afternoon**: Plans for breakfast at 7:30 AM. "Wolf joins us" — another unnamed associate.
A convicted sex offender is simultaneously discussing the Acting Attorney General, Jared Kushner, the Southern District of New York, the next UN Secretary-General, and a Saudi crown prince who murdered a journalist. At 3 AM he's reading constitutional law. By 10 AM he's discussing geopolitics over breakfast plans.
