# The DOJ Preserved the Receipt: A 2019 Whistleblower Mapped Apollo-Epstein-Putin-Trump

**TL;DR:** In May 2019 - two months before Epstein's arrest - a whistleblower named Christopher DiLorio sent emails to federal authorities explicitly mapping the network: Leon Black/Apollo to Trump/Kushner, to Epstein, to Putin/Russia. The DOJ preserved these emails. They're now searchable. The receipts were always there.

The Email They Preserved

**EFTA00010750** - Email from Christopher DiLorio, dated May 23, 2019:

The email includes links to Reuters reporting on Apollo's Leon Black sharing a platform with Putin, connections to the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), and ends with:

> "Any questions? Cheers traitorous scumbags!"

Two months later, Epstein was arrested. Two months after that, he was dead.

The Network, Mapped

DiLorio's email lays out what took journalists years to piece together:

**Node 1: Apollo/Black/Schwarzman**

- Leon Black paid Epstein $158 million in "consulting fees"

- Black appeared on stage with Putin at RDIF events

- Schwarzman's Blackstone connected to Knight Capital/Trimark money laundering shells

**Node 2: Trump/Kushner**

- Kushner's 666 Fifth Avenue bailout involved Apollo

- Apollo provided $184 million to Kushner Companies in 2017

- DiLorio explicitly maps this connection

**Node 3: Epstein**

- The broker

- The collector

- The "intelligence" asset

**Node 4: Putin/Russia**

- RDIF (Russian Direct Investment Fund) - now sanctioned

- "Russian/US Mafia/money laundering shell: Ashton Technologies"

- Spitzer investigation derailed by "RUSSIAN hooker"

"Belonged to Intelligence"

The same DOJ release contains **EFTA00030182** - notes from Alexander Acosta's Trump transition vetting:

> "Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?" Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he'd had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He'd cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein's attorneys because he had "been told" to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade.

> **"I was told Epstein 'belonged to intelligence' and to leave it alone,"** he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta.

They hired him anyway.

Cui Bono

Who benefits from a kompromat operation targeting the world's most powerful people?

DiLorio answered that question in May 2019:

1. **Intelligence services** - Acosta confirms Epstein "belonged to intelligence"

2. **Putin/Russia** - RDIF connections, oligarch money flows

3. **Apollo/BlackRock/Blackstone** - financial vehicles for the operation

4. **Anyone with leverage** - the collected material is the product

The network isn't hidden. A whistleblower mapped it. The DOJ preserved it. We indexed it.

The Spitzer Note

DiLorio's email includes a telling detail:

> "Spitzer taken down by RUSSIAN hooker"

Eliot Spitzer was investigating Wall Street corruption. His career ended when a prostitution scandal broke - involving a Russian woman. DiLorio connects this to the pattern.

Pattern recognition isn't conspiracy theory. It's the job.

Why This Matters Now

The Epstein files contain 74,000+ documents. Journalists are focused on celebrity names and salacious details.

But buried in the release is a 2019 whistleblower who explicitly mapped:

- The financial network (Apollo/Black/Schwarzman)

- The political network (Trump/Kushner)

- The intelligence network (Epstein/"belonged to intelligence")

- The foreign network (Putin/RDIF/Russia)

He sent it to federal authorities. They preserved it. They released it.

Nobody's talking about it.
