The Filing System

Epstein's photo collection was organized by VIP name and location. The contact sheets reveal the categorization system:

  • Clinton/Bali - Trip photos filed under Bill Clinton's name

  • St Trop/Clinton Morroco. Nude - Category header for 100+ photos

  • UK - HHH + T Hse - UK estate photos (possible royal connection)

  • ST Tropez/gym/JE - Jeffrey Epstein's St. Tropez property

The pattern is clear: Location/Person or Location/Category. This wasn't a random photo collection. It was organized for retrieval by target name.

The "Nude" Category

Under the header "St Trop/Clinton Morroco. Nude," we found:

  • 100+ photos labeled Nudes000.JPG through Nudes101.JPG

  • Poolside settings at tropical locations

  • Indoor photos (red/orange interior - massage room?)

  • Outdoor photos on grass and beach areas

  • Heavy redaction - most photos partially or fully blacked out

The Clinton/Bali tourist photos are filed under this same category header. Draw your own conclusions about the filing logic.

David Copperfield's Disappearing Act

The most heavily redacted pages in the photo section? Musha Cay.

That's David Copperfield's private island in the Bahamas.

Every single photo from Musha Cay is completely blacked out. The photographer's name is redacted. Even the category header is partially redacted.

Why does this matter?

An FBI internal email from October 19, 2007 (EFTA00013505) states:

"FBI Seattle and FBI Las Vegas executed a search today on a warehouse owned by Epstein's favorite cohort, David Copperfield, in connection with allegations that Copperfield raped an adult female."

The email continues:

"Copperfield spoke with the girls at Epstein's home on several occasions and tickets with 'backstage passes' were a favorite 'birthday gift' for Epstein to give the girls."

  1. Copperfield = "Epstein's favorite cohort" (FBI's words)

  2. Copperfield met with Epstein's victims at Epstein's house

  3. Backstage passes used as grooming tools

  4. FBI raided Copperfield for rape allegations

  5. All photos from Copperfield's island completely redacted

The magician made the evidence disappear.

The DO NOT SCAN Protocol

Between the Musha Cay photos and the Clinton/Bali series, we found something else: an orange placeholder page.

"ITEM WAS NOT SCANNED"

Description: CD

"Official DocLab Instruction(s) - Revised July 27, 2020"

Physical evidence - a CD from Epstein's collection - was deliberately excluded from the digital release. The next page shows a photograph of an actual CD with the label completely redacted.

They photographed the disc but blacked out what was written on it.

What was on that CD? We'll never know from this release.

What the FBI Found

For context, here's what the FBI documented finding at Epstein's Manhattan residence (from the search warrant affidavit):

  • Dozens of compact discs with female names

  • Discs labeled "Zorro" (New Mexico ranch) and "LSJ" (Little Saint James)

  • "Thai Massage"

  • "Blonde Girl Photo Shoot"

  • "Misc. Girls Nude/Dinner--Scientists"

  • Loose polaroid photographs of nude females who appear to be teenagers

  • "nudes 00-24"

  • Black binders with nude or partially nude young girls

  • Some appear to be under 18

The "Dinner--Scientists" label connects the nude photos directly to Epstein's famous dinners with tech billionaires and scientists.

The Bottom Line

The DOJ released 42,182 pages of evidence. Within that release:

  • Photos from David Copperfield's island: Completely blacked out

  • Photos filed under Clinton categories: Heavily redacted

  • Physical CDs: Excluded entirely

  • Disc labels: Redacted even when photographed

The evidence exists. It was cataloged. It was photographed for the record.

Then it was redacted, excluded, or blacked out before public release.

The filing system tells us who was important enough to organize by name. The redactions tell us who was important enough to protect.

Methodology

  • OpenJPEG (opj_decompress) for JP2 to PNG conversion

  • Tesseract OCR for text extraction

  • Pattern recognition across 42,182 pages

  • Cross-referencing with FBI affidavits and internal emails

All source documents are from the official DOJ EFTA release (January 2026).
