On January 30, 2026, President Trump nominated Kevin Warsh to chair the Federal Reserve. Hours later, reporters noticed his name in the newly released Epstein files.

Raw Story reported it. The New Republic reported it. PBS reported it.

None of them searched the actual documents.

We did.

What They Found

Warsh's name appears on a "St. Barth's Christmas 2010" guest list alongside Roman Abramovich and Brett Ratner. He also appears on a William Astor dinner list organized by Hollywood publicist Peggy Siegal.

That's where every outlet stopped.

What We Found

We have 398,525 DOJ documents indexed and searchable. When you search "Kevin Warsh," you get one direct hit — but it's a thread that unravels the entire Lauder dynasty's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

This is where it goes from interesting to significant.

Kevin Warsh's father-in-law, Ronald Lauder — billionaire Estee Lauder heir, major Trump donor, Trump's college friend — has **86 document hits** in the Epstein files.

Not mentions. Not passing references. Direct correspondence.

**May 30, 2017** — Lesley Groff (Epstein's assistant) emails Ronald Lauder's office:

> "Hello Maureen and Rose. Jeffrey is having Woody Allen and Soon Yi over for dinner this Thursday June 1st and is asking if Ronald would like to join."

Soon-Yi Previn confirmed: "Yes, we will be there at 7 PM tonight. Thank you."

**August 2017** — "Jeffrey would like to take the museum tour with Ron."

**January 2018** — "Jeffrey will be in NY next week — might Ron be around and available for dinner?"

These are **2017-2018**. Nine years after Epstein's conviction. Six years after his release from prison as a registered sex offender. Ronald Lauder was scheduling museum tours and dinner parties with a convicted sex offender.

The Social Architecture

The William Astor dinner — one of the events where Warsh was listed — was organized by Peggy Siegal, a Hollywood publicist who served as Epstein's social connector. After the dinner at The Carlyle Hotel, Siegal compiled guest reactions and emailed them directly to Epstein:

> From Dan Abrams: "What a lovely dinner and what a good group! Thanks again for the invite."

The contact list also places Warsh and the Lauders alongside Henry Kravis, Steve Kroft, Larry Kudlow, Matt Lauer, Ralph Lauren, Fareed Zakaria, Jeff Zucker, and Mortimer Zuckerman — with Kathy Ruemmler (Obama's White House Counsel and named trustee on the Epstein 2018 Trust) on a separate invite list that reads: "pritzker. leon. ambani. sultan. summers. woody, lauder. ruemmler. plus wives."

ICIJ Cross-Reference

What This Means

Kevin Warsh may or may not have personally known Jeffrey Epstein. The documents don't prove that he did. What they prove is that his **entire family by marriage** had extensive, documented, personal contact with a convicted sex offender — including post-conviction dinners, museum tours, and Woody Allen evenings — and that Warsh himself was listed in Epstein's social database and invited to events organized by Epstein's social infrastructure.

Every news outlet that reported on Warsh's appearance in the files ran the St. Barth's headline and stopped. None of them searched the documents to find the 86-hit Ronald Lauder connection. None of them found the Woody Allen dinner. None of them found the Peggy Siegal social architecture. None of them found the ICIJ offshore surnames.
