# The Fire and Fury Author Was Jeffrey Epstein's White House Conduit
**Michael Wolff asked Epstein what to ask Steve Bannon. We have the email.**
On January 5, 2018, Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" became the most talked-about book in America. It depicted a chaotic administration, an unfit president, and a scheming Steve Bannon.
What nobody reported: The author was Jeffrey Epstein's dinner companion, and Epstein was feeding him questions to ask the White House.

Three things are happening here:

2. **Opposition research**: Gathering "devastating stories" about Mia Farrow
3. **Casual Polanski drop**: "Did you know she had an affair with Polanski?" - normalizing another accused predator

Epstein wasn't just reading his friend's book. He was promoting it to Silicon Valley billionaires.
The book that damaged Trump? Epstein helped it spread.
The Pattern
Michael Wolff wasn't a casual acquaintance. The documents show:
- **Regular dinners** at Epstein's 71st Street mansion (2013-2019)
