# The Inheritance: Robert Maxwell, Mossad, and the Intelligence Operation His Daughter Continued
On November 5, 1991, a British media mogul fell off his yacht into the Atlantic Ocean and drowned. His name was Robert Maxwell. His yacht was named the *Lady Ghislaine*.
Years later, journalist Seymour Hersh reported what intelligence agencies already knew: Robert Maxwell was a Mossad asset. He had provided Israeli intelligence with access to the highest levels of Western power — and when the money ran out, he threatened to burn it all down.
The DOJ Epstein files contain both the threat and the inheritance.
The Father

The Former Prime Minister
Ehud Barak served as Israel's Prime Minister (1999-2001) and Defense Minister (2007-2013). He commanded Israel's most elite special forces unit, Sayeret Matkal. He oversaw Israel's military and intelligence operations.
And he scheduled his international travel around meetings with a registered sex offender.

The Surveillance Technology
Barak and Epstein weren't just socializing. They were investing in Israeli surveillance technology — together.
**EFTA02347697** — May 2015. Barak and Epstein discussing investment in **FST Biometrics**, later rebranded as **Reporty Homeland Security** — an Israeli facial recognition and surveillance technology company.
**EFTA02487155** — September 2015. Barak to Nicole Junkermann, CC: Jeffrey Epstein. Israeli surveillance tech investment coordination. Junkermann is a German-Israeli investor with 1,000+ hits in the Epstein files.
Reporty later became **Carbyne** — an emergency response technology company. Barak served as chairman. Peter Thiel was an investor. The company's technology — real-time location tracking, video streaming to emergency services — is deployed in multiple countries.
A former Israeli Defense Minister and a convicted sex offender, co-investing in surveillance technology. And the founder of Palantir — the intelligence community's preferred analytics platform — investing alongside them.
The Intelligence Briefings
Boris Nikolic — Bill Gates's science advisor, later named alternate executor of Epstein's will — briefed Epstein on Barak's meetings with the American national security establishment.

Barak was meeting with **Hillary Clinton** (Secretary of State), **Robert Gates** (Secretary of Defense), and the **National Security Advisor** — then stopping at Nikolic's house at 8 AM. Nikolic reported this to Epstein.

**EFTA01300733** — The day after, Epstein sent Staley the results: Iran nuclear discussions, Palestinian negotiations, Hezbollah weapons transfers, Russian missiles to Syria. Marked: *"Confidential Treatment Requested by JPMorgan Chase."*
The Apartment
Epstein didn't just meet with Barak. He managed his life in New York.

**EFTA02213536** — Driver's license coordination for Barak through Epstein's staff.
**EFTA02345950** — Urgent calls routed through Epstein's office for Barak.

Epstein's staff — the same people who scheduled "girls" and organized billionaire dinners — were managing a former Israeli Prime Minister's domestic arrangements. Cable bills. Driver's licenses. Phone calls. The operational intimacy is total.
The Wexner Connection
Les Wexner — founder of L Brands (Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works) — donated $46 million to Epstein and transferred ownership of his Manhattan townhouse (**EFTA00026723**). A Deutsche Bank "Source of Wealth" memo examines the Wexner financial pipeline (**EFTA01392902**).
Wexner co-founded the **Mega Group** — a consortium of wealthy American Jewish philanthropists with documented ties to Israeli intelligence interests. The Mega Group included Edgar Bronfman, Michael Steinhardt, and Charles Bronfman. Epstein's index returns 651 hits for "Wexner Mega Group Israel."
