# The Orbit: Bill Clinton, Ghislaine Maxwell, and the 3 AM Emails
On Christmas Day 2001, Tom Pritzker — chairman of the Hyatt Hotels empire — sent Ghislaine Maxwell a newspaper clipping.
The Globe had published a photo spread. Bill Clinton was sitting next to Maxwell at a social event. The eyewitness account read:
> *Ghislaine is a stunning brunette in her early 40's. Clinton was sitting next to her, playing Prince Charming, offering to pour her wine and laughing heartily at everything she said.*
Pritzker forwarded it to Maxwell (**EFTA02333209**). He added a joke about whether Clinton had "screwed a chicken."
This was the social universe Jeffrey Epstein built. And the DOJ indexed all of it.
The Plane

David Slade to Ghislaine Maxwell, CC: Doug Band (Counselor to President Clinton):
> *Here is the latest plane manifest for the Africa trip. I don't anticipate any more changes with respect to President Clinton and his staff. The CBS 60 Minutes crew and Dan Rather is still not confirmed for the Capetown to Johannesburg leg.*
Epstein's 727. President Clinton's staff. Dan Rather and CBS 60 Minutes. Maxwell CC'd on the logistics alongside Clinton's personal counselor. This is the Africa trip — Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker — on Epstein's aircraft, with Maxwell coordinating travel.
The manifest wasn't the only logistics document. **EFTA02332289** shows Philip Levine (later Mayor of Miami Beach) pricing out "Clinton Flight" arrangements through Maxwell as early as February 2002. This was a standing operation.
The 3 AM Emails
Doug Band was Bill Clinton's gatekeeper. His BlackBerry signature read: *"Douglas J. Band, Counselor to President Clinton."* And he was in regular contact with Ghislaine Maxwell.

Band and Maxwell exchanging late-night messages. The tone is flirtatious. In the same chain, Band references having *"slept with a best selling author — Clinton notwithstanding."*

Clinton's personal counselor asking Epstein's alleged co-conspirator to manage press coverage to protect Chelsea Clinton. The casual coordination between the Clinton office and Maxwell on media management is direct.
The Townhouse

Peggy Siegal to Jeffrey Epstein:
> *Just left Ghislaine's townhouse... after party for film. Bill Clinton and Jeff Bezos were there... Jean Pigozzi, director Mira Nair*
Inauguration Day. Obama is being sworn in. And Bill Clinton is at Ghislaine Maxwell's townhouse with Jeff Bezos. This is January 2009 — Epstein was a registered sex offender since June 2008. Clinton is at Maxwell's house.
The Vanity Fair Operation

Jim Kennedy — Clinton communications staff — to Ghislaine Maxwell:
> *How is the article going? Is it going to be a post-election piece? I know Vicky is also doing a profile of Senator Clinton.*
Kennedy is asking Maxwell about the progress of a Vanity Fair story. He references a separate profile of "Senator Clinton." Clinton's own communications team was coordinating media strategy with Maxwell — the woman later convicted of sex trafficking.
The Russiagate Intersection
The Clinton orbit in the Epstein files isn't just social. It's operational.
**EFTA02470004** — February 19, 2016
Michael Wolff to Jeffrey Epstein:
> *NYT called me about you and Trump. Also, Hillary campaign digging deeply. Again, you should consider preempting.*
The same email continues — Epstein had just met Ehud Barak at 1 PM. Wolff was invited for 2 PM. The former Israeli Prime Minister and the Fire and Fury author, in Epstein's apartment the same afternoon, while both presidential campaigns were circling.
"Again" — this was not the first warning. Wolff had told Epstein before that Hillary's opposition research team was pulling on the Epstein thread.
**EFTA02452761** — August 2016
Tom Pritzker to Jeffrey Epstein:
> *How close will race need to be for Russians to give us an October surprise. Which of Hillary's emails was most entertaining.*
Three months before the election. The chairman of Hyatt Hotels is casually asking Epstein's circle about Russian election interference AND which of Hillary's hacked emails they found most entertaining. This is the same Pritzker who sent the "Prince Charming" clip to Maxwell in 2001.

Epstein sends Soon-Yi Previn (Woody Allen's wife) a WikiLeaks link: `wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/927`. One month before the election. A registered sex offender sharing Russian-hacked Clinton campaign emails with his social circle.
**EFTA02548054** — December 11, 2017
Epstein sends Wolff the Fusion GPS/Glenn Simpson story from the Washington Times. *"please note."* Epstein was tracking the Russiagate investigation apparatus itself.
The Intelligence Pipeline
The deepest Clinton thread isn't the plane or the townhouse. It's the intelligence.

Epstein sending the CEO of JP Morgan the meeting schedule of Israel's Defense Minister with the Secretary of State — **before the meetings happened**. Marked: *"Confidential Treatment Requested by JPMorgan Chase."*

The day after. Epstein sends Staley the results. What Barak told Clinton about Iran's nuclear program. Palestinian negotiations. Hezbollah weapons transfers. Russia selling missiles to Syria. Barak's meeting with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
A registered sex offender forwarding defense intelligence to a bank CEO. And Boris Nikolic — Bill Gates's science advisor — was briefing Epstein on Barak's schedule in advance: *"I told you this was crazy.. His next stop is this morning at my house 8 am"* (**EFTA01835740**).
The Huma Abedin → Doug Band → Ghislaine Maxwell chain (**EFTA02335279**) puts Hillary Clinton's closest aide three degrees from Epstein's co-conspirator. The Clinton Global Initiative provided post-conviction access (**EFTA02391095**). Former Norwegian PM Bondevik used CGI to reconnect with Epstein (**EFTA02391095**). And Mayor Levine of Miami Beach routed a Hillary SiriusXM interview directly to Epstein (**EFTA02366414**).
The Question
Clinton flew on Epstein's plane. His counselor texted Maxwell at 3 AM. His communications team coordinated media strategy with her. He sat next to her while reporters described him "playing Prince Charming." He was at her townhouse on inauguration night. His closest aide's calls reached Maxwell through a single intermediary. And Epstein was briefing bank CEOs on what Barak told Clinton about Iran's nuclear program.
