# Tom Pritzker Had the CIA Director Over for Lunch. Then He Told Jeffrey Epstein.
Three documents. Three years. One pattern.
Tom Pritzker — chairman of Hyatt Hotels, billionaire, Aspen Strategy Group member — maintained a direct line to the US intelligence establishment. And every time something interesting happened, his first call was to a convicted sex offender in New York.
June 6, 2011: Afghanistan
Document: **EFTA01864832**
Pritzker emails Epstein from a "remote valley of Afghanistan":
> *"I am in a remote valley of Afghanistan (its my birthday wish) with Boys with Toys. Spent time w Patraeus yesterday and he loaned me a chopper (actually two with one as a back up). Can't call till tomorrow."*
David Petraeus was Commander of ISAF and all US Forces in Afghanistan at the time. He'd held the post since July 2010. A civilian billionaire is touring a war zone on his birthday, hanging out with the commanding general, and getting loaned military helicopters — two, with a backup, because that's how you travel when you're friends with the guy running the war.
The first person Pritzker tells is Jeffrey Epstein. Not his wife. Not his board. Epstein. Because Epstein collected these relationships like baseball cards.
Epstein's response: *"it can wait.. are you coming back through paris?"*
Paris. Always Paris.
September 6, 2012: The CIA Lunch

> *"Tried to see if I could do the Super Ted, but cannot. Had Patraeus over to lunch today. Interesting. tjp"*
By September 2012, Petraeus had left Afghanistan and become **Director of the Central Intelligence Agency**. He'd held the post since September 6, 2011 — exactly one year to the day before this email.
The sitting CIA Director had lunch with Tom Pritzker. Pritzker's immediate reaction was to email Jeffrey Epstein about it.
Epstein's response (EFTA01885821):
> *"woody for dinner in ny tomorrw come"*
So the chain goes: CIA Director → Pritzker → Epstein → dinner with "woody" in New York the next night. The information about lunch with the nation's top intelligence official traveled from Pritzker to a convicted sex offender within hours. And Epstein's response wasn't surprise or curiosity about Petraeus — it was a dinner invitation. Business as usual.
Pritzker replied (EFTA01885837) that he was "going crazy" at a conference and would call over the weekend to catch up.
Two months later, on November 9, 2012, David Petraeus resigned as CIA Director after the FBI discovered his affair with biographer Paula Broadwell. The investigation revealed he had shared classified information with her.
August 8, 2016: The Aspen Strategy Group Roster

Pritzker had just given a presentation on leadership to the Aspen Strategy Group. Epstein asked "who attends." Pritzker gave him the full membership list:
> *"Members include Patraeus, Albright, Slaughter, Donalon (Obama NSA), Hadley (Bush NSA), Sullivan (NSA→Hillary), Bill Burns (State #2), Kurt Campbell, Hoss Carwright (#2 Joint Chiefs), Harman, Ignatius, Sanger, Nunn, Reed, Sawers (MI6), Sherman (iran deal), Work (current #2 DoD)."*
Read that list again. In 2016, Tom Pritzker handed Jeffrey Epstein a roster that included:
- **Jake Sullivan** — Hillary Clinton's National Security Advisor, later Biden's NSA
- **Bill Burns** — Deputy Secretary of State, later Biden's CIA Director
- **Condoleezza Rice** — replacing Brent Scowcroft on the board
- **Sir John Sawers** — former Chief of MI6
- **Madeleine Albright** — former Secretary of State
- **David Petraeus** — former CIA Director (still in the circle after resignation)
- **Tom Donilon** — Obama's National Security Advisor
- **Stephen Hadley** — Bush's National Security Advisor
- **Hoss Cartwright** — Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
- **Jane Harman** — former ranking member of House Intelligence Committee
- **David Ignatius** — Washington Post columnist, the intelligence community's favorite journalist
- **David Sanger** — New York Times national security correspondent
- **Sam Nunn** — former Senator, nuclear security expert
- **Wendy Sherman** — lead negotiator on the Iran nuclear deal
- **Bob Work** — Deputy Secretary of Defense
This is 2016. Jeffrey Epstein is a registered sex offender. He's been convicted since 2008. And a Hyatt Hotels billionaire is casually sharing the complete membership roster of one of America's most exclusive national security forums with him.
Pritzker added: *"It seems to now be taking on an aura."*
Epstein's response: *"im in santa fe for the next two weeks come visit"*
The Pattern
This isn't three random emails. It's a five-year intelligence pipeline:
**2011:** Pritzker has personal access to the commanding general in Afghanistan. Reports to Epstein.
**2012:** Pritzker lunches with the sitting CIA Director. Reports to Epstein.
**2016:** Pritzker gives Epstein the full roster of the Aspen Strategy Group — two NSAs, a CIA Director, the #2 at Joint Chiefs, the head of MI6, the Iran deal negotiator, and both flagship national security journalists.
Tom Pritzker wasn't just socializing with Epstein after his conviction. He was functioning as a conduit between the US intelligence establishment and a convicted sex offender. Whether Pritzker understood that role is a separate question. That the conduit existed is documented fact.
What "Interesting" Means
Pritzker's word choice after lunching with CIA Director Petraeus: "Interesting."
Not "classified." Not "off the record." Not "I probably shouldn't tell you this." Just — *interesting.* The casualness is the tell. This wasn't a slip. This was a pattern so normalized that a billionaire thought nothing of reporting his lunch with the nation's top spy to Jeffrey Epstein.
The information flow was one-directional in these emails. Pritzker reports up to Epstein. Epstein responds with social invitations — dinner in New York, come visit Santa Fe. The asymmetry suggests Epstein expected these briefings. They were part of the relationship.
