# "Very Very Smart and As Boring" - Epstein's Assessment of Eric Schmidt
The Boat Invitation
February 2013. Todd Meister, one of Epstein's associates, reaches out with a question.

The response is pure Epstein:

That's Jeffrey Epstein's assessment of the man who ran Google for a decade.
Very very smart. And as boring.
The Brokerage
Epstein wasn't just connected to Schmidt. He was brokering him to others.

Ehud. As in Ehud Barak.
Former Prime Minister of Israel. Former Defense Minister. Former Chief of Staff of the IDF. One of the most powerful intelligence figures in Israeli history.
Jeffrey Epstein casually offering to connect Google's CEO to Israeli intelligence leadership. "I don't have to be there."
He was the switchboard.
"Big Supporter of Ours"
The relationship wasn't new.

Ghislaine Maxwell, discussing potential dinner guests:
*"Eric may come too... eric schmidt is founder of google, big supporter of ours"*
"Big supporter of ours."
That's how Maxwell described Schmidt. In 2003. A full decade before the boat invitations and Barak introductions.
What was Schmidt "supporting" for a decade?
The Dinner Planning

- Peter Mandelson (UK politician, later investigated for Epstein ties)

Walter Isaacson. Steve Jobs' biographer. Former CEO of CNN. Former chairman of the Aspen Institute.
This wasn't a party. This was curation.
The Timeline Problem
By February 2013, when the boat invitation email was sent:
- Epstein had been convicted in 2008 (5 years prior)
- Flight logs were public
- Multiple victim lawsuits were ongoing
- The New York Post had covered the scandal
Eric Schmidt knew exactly who Jeffrey Epstein was. Everyone did.
The association continued anyway.
The Pentagon Connection
Eric Schmidt later became:
- Chairman of the Pentagon's Defense Innovation Board
- Chairman of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence
- Advisor on technology to the Department of Defense
His introduction to one of Israel's top intelligence figures - Ehud Barak - came through a sex trafficker.
Did anyone ask about this during his security clearance process?
The Google Trifecta
Schmidt wasn't the only Google founder in Epstein's orbit.

Brin offered to bring Schmidt to Epstein's dinners.

Flight records show a $55,000 helicopter charter coordinated for Page's St. Barts trip through Epstein's staff.
All three Google founders. All documented. All in the network.
What Schmidt Knew
The documents don't show Schmidt engaging in criminal activity. They show something else: complicity in the social rehabilitation of a sex offender.
Every dinner attended. Every introduction accepted. Every boat weekend - it all told the world that Jeffrey Epstein was acceptable.
When the CEO of Google treats you as a peer, you're not a pariah. You're connected.
That's what Schmidt provided. Legitimacy.
