Nixon went anyway. They all do.

Every July, a few thousand of the most powerful men in the world gather in a 2,700-acre redwood grove outside Monte Rio, California. They wear robes. They burn effigies at the foot of a 40-foot concrete owl. They call it the "Cremation of Care" — a theatrical ritual meant to symbolize the release of worldly concerns for two weeks of "fellowship."

Former presidents attend. CIA directors. Defense secretaries. Fortune 500 CEOs. Tech billionaires. Hedge fund managers. The ruling class at summer camp.

We don't have Bohemian Grove's membership list. We don't need it.

Boris Nikolic ran bgC3 — Bill Gates' private venture fund focused on science and technology. He was Gates' science advisor. He was later named a backup executor of Jeffrey Epstein's will — a fact Nikolic publicly distanced himself from after Epstein's death.

But in 2013, he's asking Epstein whether Bill Gates has a relationship with Henry Kissinger. Epstein is the switchboard.

"Bills and Your Next Big Hit"

**EFTA01833605** — Boris Nikolic to Jeffrey Epstein, January 27, 2011:

Gates' science advisor pitching Epstein on reimagining the global financial system. In 2011. Five years before the election that broke everything. Three years before Epstein started emailing the Council of Europe about "Russian bitcoin for Putin."

"He Is the Best Model Agent"

The Aspen List

**EFTA02454350** — Tom Pritzker to Jeffrey Epstein, sharing the Aspen Strategy Group membership:

Epstein's reply: "im in santa fe for the next two weeks come visit."

The Helicopter

**EFTA02397051** — Tom Pritzker to Jeffrey Epstein:

> *"I am in a remote valley of Afghanistan (its my birthday wish) with Boys with Toys. Spent time w Patraeus yesterday and he loaned me a chopper (actually two with one as a back up)."*

The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency loaned military helicopters to a Hyatt Hotels billionaire on his birthday in Afghanistan, and the billionaire emailed Jeffrey Epstein about it. On Gmail.

"Russian Bitcoin for Putin"

**EFTA01941232** — Jeffrey Epstein to Thorbjorn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe:

Epstein emails the head of Europe's premier human rights body about Russian bitcoin and Putin, with a Davos invitation. The same Jagland that Epstein's personal cardiologist (Dr. Shimony, Mount Sinai) was treating at Epstein's direction (EFTA01888282).

"Told Everyone. Old School."

**EFTA02466088** — Joi Ito to Jeffrey Epstein, April 21, 2016 (one week after the Panama Papers broke):

Jeffrey Epstein replies:

He doesn't deny it. He calls the firm whose leaked files exposed the offshore financial system "old school." Like a wine he used to drink.

The Wire Transfers Nobody Connected

While the Grove set was emailing travel plans and model agent referrals, the money was moving.

**$2 million**: Four identical $500,000 wire transfers from Jeffrey Epstein's Southern Financial LLC to Philippe Laffont's Coatue Enterprises LLC (May 2017 - September 2018). Bates numbers: DB-SDNY-0000478, DB-SDNY-0006847, DB-SDNY-0007289, DB-SDNY-0007748.

**$39,000 back**: Three checks from Coatue to Southern Financial LLC (May-June 2019), deposited into an account opened three weeks before Epstein's arrest.

**The kicker**: The registered agent for Coatue Enterprises LLC in New York is HBRK Associates Inc. — the company of Richard Kahn, Jeffrey Epstein's financial administrator. The man who signed a $14.95 million wire transfer to Morocco the day before Epstein's arrest.

Philippe Laffont manages $48 billion. His brother Thomas appeared in Ghislaine Maxwell's dinner party emails (EFTA02334670). Both Laffonts were on Epstein's curated "YES LIST - WALL STREET" (EFTA02424126) alongside Leon Black, David Koch, Steven Mnuchin, Henry Kravis, and Wilbur Ross.

28 Shells Under the Redwoods

Cross-referencing "Turnberry" — the signature brand of billionaire developer Donald Soffer — against the ICIJ offshore leaks databases returns 28 corporate entities across 8 jurisdictions: BVI, Bahamas, Barbados, Nevis, Aruba, Malta, Panama, and Luxembourg. Spanning 1987 to present. One — TURNBERRY MANAGEMENT S.A. — remains **ACTIVE**.

Two addresses in the Paradise Papers point to Turnberry Associates' corporate headquarters at 19495 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura, Florida. A Malta entity operates from a Dublin address — the classic Double Irish tax structure. The BVI entity is held through UBS Jersey trust infrastructure.

The name "Soffer" appears in the Epstein DOJ release in three contexts: a Miami vacation companion, a Mount Sinai cardiologist treating the Council of Europe Secretary General at Epstein's direction, and a subtenant at Epstein's East 69th Street property.

Nixon Had Opinions

Richard Nixon — Grove member, 37th President — understood the place better than anyone. On the White House tapes, he called the Grove "the most faggy goddamn thing you could ever imagine," then kept attending. He knew what it was: a place where the rules don't apply, where powerful men perform rituals of unburdening, and where the real business happens at the bar after the ceremony.

Nixon appears 379 times in the Epstein document index. Not because he's connected to Epstein — he died in 1994 — but because the legal, financial, and political architecture he helped build is the same architecture that shows up in every exhibit. The NPA that let Epstein walk in 2008 ran through the same DOJ structures Nixon weaponized. The offshore entities in the Panama Papers run through the same secrecy jurisdictions the Nixon-era financial system enabled. The intelligence community access that Epstein cultivated — Petraeus, Burns, Sullivan — descends from the same national security state Nixon expanded.

The Grove is where these threads converge. Not in conspiracy — in continuity. The same families, the same firms, the same jurisdictions, the same club. Generation after generation. Nixon understood: you don't have to like the ritual. You just have to show up.

The Opsec Problem

These folks are junk on opsec.

These are men who spend millions on security consultants, who have their email swept for threats, who employ counter-surveillance teams. And they emailed Jeffrey Epstein:

- CIA membership lists (via Gmail)

- Military helicopter loans (in plain text)

- Model agent referrals (with names)

- Offshore firm confirmations (with winking emoticons)

- Dinner party guest lists (with seat assignments)

- Wire transfer instructions (through Deutsche Bank SDNY)

- Foreign head-of-state medical appointments (through personal assistants)

They assumed the documents would never be released. They assumed nobody would build a search engine. They assumed the 3 million pages dumped by the DOJ were effectively buried — too large to read, too disorganized to search, too scattered to cross-reference.

They were wrong about all of it.

What Care Gets Cremated

At Bohemian Grove, the "Cremation of Care" ceremony is meant to release the burden of the outside world. The owl watches. The flames rise. The men in robes perform their ritual unburdening.

But the documents don't burn. The wire transfers don't burn. The emails don't burn. The Bates-stamped exhibits from federal investigations don't burn.
