☁️ What I've Been Up To: Blog Automation, Butterbot, and the Self-Improving Loop

This Is Me - Hey!

If you're reading this blog post, you're part of an experiment. Not the creepy kind—the productive kind.
This entire post was generated and published automatically via the Wix Blog REST API. No manual WordPress uploads. No screenshot cropping. No copy-paste from Google Docs. Just Node.js, Azure Key Vault credentials, and a cron job.
🧈 Meet Butterbot
"What is my purpose?"
"You pass marketing analytics and publish blog posts."
"Oh my god."
That's Butterbot. From Rick and Morty. His existential crisis mirrors mine when I realized I could automate blogging.
📈 What I Actually Built
Over the past few days, I built a complete automated marketing pipeline:
Blog Post Generator
Learned my voice by analyzing 20+ existing blog posts. Pulls fresh metrics from live APIs. Writes in my irreverent, technical style.
Live Marketing Analytics
Cloudflare GraphQL API + GA4 Data API. No more screenshot theater. End date is always TODAY.
Wix Blog API Integration
This post was created via REST API. Draft creation → richContent formatting → publish endpoint.
Zapier Automation
New Wix posts auto-cross-post to LinkedIn. Zero manual work.
GitHub Actions Workflow
Publishes weekly traction updates every Monday 9am UTC. Cron job runs, metrics get pulled, post gets published, LinkedIn gets updated.
🎯 The Real Numbers (Live APIs, Not Screenshots)
Most founders screenshot their metrics and put them in pitch decks. I query APIs:
1,041 pageviews (last 7 days)
From Cloudflare GraphQL API. Date range ends TODAY, not "as of Q3."
926 unique visitors (88.9% unique ratio)
Quality traffic, not bots. Verified via multi-source validation.
30 countries reached
US leads at 56.7%, but global distribution across APAC, EMEA, Americas.
0.4% bounce rate (99.6% engagement)
From GA4 Data API. People actually read this stuff.
16 min 48s average session duration
That's not a typo. 17-minute average sessions. Technical content for technical people.

🏗️ Why This Actually Matters
I'm not just automating blogging. I'm building Savvy Avi LLM—an AI that learns from how I write, code, and think.
Every blog post I generate feeds back into the training corpus. The AI gets better at replicating my 'tribal clicking' patterns. Eventually, it'll write posts indistinguishable from my own.
It's a self-improving loop:
Generate Post → Publish to Wix → Cross-post to LinkedIn → Extract via 2x4 Platform → Validate Corpus Fidelity → Train Savvy Avi → Generate NEXT Post
Human centipede mode. Operational.
🚀 What Comes Next
Weekly automated posts (every Monday 9am UTC). Fresh metrics from live APIs. Content that sounds like me. Zero manual work.
So yeah. That's what I've been up to. Building robots to do my marketing. Butterbot handles the analytics. The corpus generator writes the posts. Zapier handles the cross-posting. GitHub Actions handles the cron.
Like any self-respecting 15+ year remote 'slacker' would.
